Our story begins in South Africa in 2005 on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal. [A province (state) on the east coast] The founder and CEO of Smooch Beverages, Harry Vlavianos always wanted to create and manufacture his own product rather than buy someone else’s product and re-sell it. After being in the dairy industry for many years buying and re-selling someone else's products and brand, he finally decided that the product he wanted to create, would be an alcohol product of some sort as it had similar qualities in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods ( FMCG) field. The name Smooch came about after an evening drinking with friends. This is where it all started. Harry started production of fun products such as SMOOCH Sour Vodka drinks, then later production of the ARRIBA range of tequila flavored drinks. The ARRIBA Bubblegum quickly became the most popular drink, everybody wanted ARRIBA BUBBLEGUM! Smooch also produced a range of flavored vodka drinks under the FUSION Brand, the most popularity of which was the FUSION CARAMEL. Smooch allowed us to travel around South Africa with these 3 fun brands, promoting at trade shows, night clubs, bars, college parties, sports events, outdoor music festivals, private parties, yacht parties, MMA fight events, golf days, restaurants... You name it and we were there! In 2014 we decided to bring these brands to USA. We are a family run business, producing our liquor drinks from Westlake Village in California. To date, we have launched the Fusion Vodka and Tequila Blend as well as the Smooch Vodka brand.  Exciting things are yet to come, please follow our social media and see where Smooch's journey takes us!
